Pembina Trail School Division's Human Rights Project

 

The vision for this project is to bring together and grow the socially responsible citizens of tomorrow. A project of this magnitude will engage students in an emotionally powerful experience that will stay with our learners for the rest of their lives.

Pembina Trails community businesses are supporting this event through sponsorship, donation and material support. Investors Group Field (Winnipeg Blue Bombers) is donating the use of the stadium. Taiga Air Service is providing a significant discount for their HD Helicopter Videography service. The Faculty of Education at the University of Manitoba is also exploring ways to include this initiative in students learning, as a way to promote cross-curricular connections, within the faculty. Many other community groups are offering generous support to make this project a reality.
